Here is the first album by JESSICA93, one-man band from the north area of Paris who manages to mix two closed worlds (the 80s and the 90s) with his music, a combination between coldwave and shoegaze.
The result is a six tracks record with gloomy and heavy tunes but also dancing beats that can remind THE CURE or RIDE. Geoffroy Laporte builds his songs with many bass and guitars loops on dark beatboxes with a distant voice, sometimes in french and sometimes in english.
The record delivers a very intriguing and original music but also reachable songs, that is the main interest of the JESSICA93 music.
The album is released on vinyl LP and on CD digisleeve, the CD edition contains 4 bonus tracks from the first JESSICA93 EP.

Voici le premier album de JESSICA93, one-man band en provenance de Seine Saint-Denis et qui réconcilie à lui tout seul deux mondes, les années 80 et 90, que tout oppose a priori avec son mélange de coldwave et de shoegaze. Avec six titres qui alternent ambiances malsaines, lourdes mais aussi parfois dansantes, Geoffroy Laporte construit ses morceaux avec des boucles de guitares et de basses qui se superposent à l'infini sur des boites à rythmes plombées.
Le tout agrémenté d'une voix lointaine alternant français et anglais, le résultat n'est pas loin de nous remémorer THE CURE ou RIDE. JESSICA93 arrive à créer une musique à la fois très accessible mais aussi follement intrigante et c'est là que réside tout l'intérêt du disque.
L'album sort en version vinyle et CD, cette dernière est agrémentée en bonus des quatre titres du premier EP éponyme de JESSICA93 sorti en 2012.
