HANGMAN's CHAIR's fifth album is a trip down to their roots : the parisian suburbs, its bleakness and its nightlife. Going the same way as « This is not supposed to be positive » did in 2015, « Banlieue Triste » displays an even darker and colder atmosphere with more reverb and chorus, drowning itself into deep melancholy. Featuring notable guests (James from Perturbator and Marc from Mongolito and Wolvennest) and a careful blend of instrumentals (« Tara » « Sidi Bel Abbès »), catchy songs (« Naive » « 04 09 16 ») and down tempo tunes (« Negative Male Child »), HANGMAN'S CHAIR's new record asserts its identity and will undoubtedly leave its mark on 2018.

Déjà le cinquième album pour HANGMAN'S CHAIR et un retour aux sources grandement inspiré par la nuit et la froideur de la banlieue parisienne. Dans la continuité de ''This is not supposed to be positive'' sorti en 2015, ''Banlieue Triste'' enfonce le clou avec des ambiances encore plus glaciales et sombres à grand renfort de reverb et de chorus qui noie l'abum l'album dans la mélancolie. Avec des invités notables (James de PERTURBATOR et Marc de MONGOLITO et WOLVENNEST) et un savant mélange de titres instrumentaux (''Tara'', ''Sidi Bel Abbès''), de morceaux accrocheurs (''Naive'', ''04 09 16'') et de ballades down tempo (''Negative Male Child''), HANGMAN'S CHAIR impose son idendité propre avec ce nouvel opus qui marquera fortement cette année 2018.
